Since its launch in 2014, Sherry Week has hosted more than 30,000 events worldwide under the auspices of the Consejo Regulador for Jerez-Xérès-Sherry and Manzanilla. Nearly one million wine lovers – from seasoned professionals to curious first-timers – have discovered Sherry’s heritage, its distinctive solera system, and its versatility in cocktails and food pairings. The 2025 edition was the most successful in Sherry Week history, with 4,209 registered events, a 38% increase on the previous year. It welcomed participants from 27 countries, with the UK setting a new benchmark of 1,846 events and the launch of the hugely popular Sherry Supper Clubs, featuring top chefs including José Pizarro, while Spain introduced the first-ever Sherry Cocktail Week, stretching from Barcelona to the islands. Last year alone, the #SherryWeek hashtag reached 6.2 million people worldwide, fuelled by the photogenic Sherry Girl, who lit up social posts, posters, merchandise and pairing guides across the globe. For 2026, that visual energy continues with the reveal of this year’s official artwork, a new campaign image designed to inspire Sherry lovers around the world.
